Since completing a Bachelor of Nursing at University of Tasmania in 2008, Adam has enjoyed various roles in urology nursing. He now holds the role of Clinical Nurse Consultant at Homlesglen Private Hospital, in combination with his role as Urology Nurse Specialist at AUA Urology. He is passionate about all aspects of urology nursing, yet his special interests are uro-oncology, erectile dysfunction and nursing education. Combining acute hospital nursing care with specialist practice nursing provides an opportunity to link various skills and knowledge, remain current with the latest surgical techniques and keep well-informed of developing evidence-based practices.
Adam has completed a Graduate Certificate of Urological and Continence Nursing at La Trobe University, as well as achieving a Masters of International and Community Development at Deakin University. Additionally, he is currently undertaking his Masters of Nurse Practitioner (Urology) at Flinders University. Adam is an Executive Committee member for the Victorian Urology Nurses Society, as well as representing Victoria on the Australian and New Zealand Urology Nurses Society Executive Committee.
