COVID 19 – Important Information
At Australian Urology Associates, we are committed to the provision of high-quality healthcare, even during the current health pandemic, where adjustments to our service delivery are required to minimise the risk of transmission of COVID-19.
Your ongoing healthcare is extremely important to us and we encourage you to continue to seek appointments with your healthcare providers.
A number of precautions are in place to protect the health and safety of our patients, doctors and staff:
Screening
Every patient is screened prior to their appointment to identify patients who may be at increased risk of infection.
We ask that you do not attend your appointment if you:
- Are feeling unwell, or have any cold or flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny nose, or loss of change in taste or smell
- Have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days
- Have been instructed to isolate currently
- Have visited an exposure site during the exposure period. Please check the public exposure site list before visiting our practice: https://www.coronavirus.vic.

Please phone our rooms on 8506 3600 and we will reschedule your appointment.
Face Masks
A face mask must be worn while visiting our practice.
Hand Hygiene
All patients and visitors attending our rooms are required to use hand sanitiser on arrival.
Physical Distancing
You will notice some modifications to our waiting room. We have reduced the number of chairs and spread these through the practice to allow for physical distancing. If an extended wait is expected, our staff may ask you to wait outside or in your car and send you a text when it’s time to come in.
We ask that you attend your appointment alone where possible, or with a maximum of one support person if required.
Telehealth
Telehealth consultations via either video or phone are organised where appropriate.
