Prof Mark Frydenberg’s outstanding contribution to the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ) has been formally recognised at the organisation’s annual conference, held recently in Melbourne.
USANZ is the peak membership body for urological surgeons and other health professionals working in the field of Urology. Prof Frydenberg has served on the USANZ Board for more than 10 years, including as President from 2015-2017. He has also been the Urology Specialty Representative on the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) Council since 2017.
This prestigious recognition reflects his years of dedicated service in shaping urological practice, improving patient outcomes, and driving educational and research initiatives. It highlights his commitment not only to delivering the highest standard of care for his patients, but also to contributing to the profession through leadership in education, professional standards, research, and national health policy and advocacy.
